Lovely pub on the river Lea

The Saracen's Head is based on the picturesque river Lea in Ware. The pub serves classic pub food and drinks in a casual a fun dining atmosphere. They are known for their freshly made pizzas that are ordered at the bar, cooked immediately and served hot in no time at all.

Food serving times

Food is served Monday to Saturdays 12pm – 9pm & Sunday 12 midday – 7pm.

Pizzas & Food

The exceptional freshly made pizzas are made on the premises or the pizza-to-go is order at the pub and pick up only. These exceptional and renowned pizzas include Margherita, Pepperoni, Ham and Pineapple, Meat Feast, Veggalore, Sweet Chilli Halloumi, BBQ Tex, Diavlo, Chicken and the Four Seasons. Function Room

The Saracen's head has a function room for hire. The Cellar basement bar is a great space for venue hire in Hertfordshire and live music. Doors to The Cellar, formerly known as The Deep, have been unlocked and now reopen to the public after nearly three decades. This is available for hire Monday - Thursday 9am til 7pm & Friday - Saturday 10am til 5pm. Facilities include a projector, screen & audio, Free WiFi, Flipchart, lined paper & pen per delegate.
